Contact form. When you submit our contact form, we process the information you provide: your role, email address, the details of your inquiry and, if you choose to share a project idea, the optional project fields. Alongside the submission we record its date and your IP address, which we use solely to prevent abuse of the form.
Server logs. Like virtually every website, our servers record technical access data (such as IP address, browser type and time of request) for the purpose of operating the site securely.
We use the information you submit exclusively to respond to your inquiry and evaluate the collaboration or project you propose. We do not sell personal data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not carry out profiling.
Submissions are stored on our own servers. To notify us of a new submission, a copy is delivered by an email delivery service provider acting on our instructions; such providers may be located outside Egypt, in which case we apply appropriate safeguards. No other disclosure to third parties takes place unless required by law.
To understand how this website is used and to improve it, we use Umami, an open-source web analytics tool. We host Umami ourselves at analytics.selimsalman.de on a server in Germany, operated by a hosting provider acting on our instructions. No third-party analytics provider receives the data, and the data is not sold or used for advertising.
What is collected. Page URL and title, referrer, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, country, time of visit, and named interaction events where the website defines them (for example, button clicks).
No cookies, nothing stored on your device. Umami sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device for analytics. It does no cross-site or cross-device tracking, and it builds no persistent visitor profile. Visits are distinguished by an anonymised identifier derived from a hash that includes a rotating salt. Your IP address is used only transiently for that purpose and for a coarse country lookup, and is not stored. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, it is honoured and your visits are not counted.
Why there is no consent banner. Because nothing is stored on or read from your device beyond what your browser transmits anyway, and the data is not tied to an identifiable person, we do not show a consent banner. We carry out this measurement on the basis of our legitimate interest in measuring the reach of this website and improving it.
Opting out. You can object to this measurement at any time using the switch below. Your opt-out is stored in your browser's local storage under the key umami.disabled and applies to this browser only.

We keep contact submissions for as long as needed to handle the inquiry and any resulting collaboration, then delete them.
